Sources tell me tonight that it's official: LSU and Alabama will meet again in New Orleans in the BCS title game. It still remains to be seen whether or not TCU automatically qualifies for a BCS berth (I'm not optimistic).
That would put Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl, against Stanford (an automatic qualifier).
The Orange will have Clemson facing West Virginia.
The Sugar will feature Michigan against Virginia Tech.
Other bowl matchups are starting to leak out as well. Keep checking our bowl page for the latest.

LSU-Alabama, the sequelExplain how a team that isnt even a conference champion can play for the national championship!!! Its a crock and a shame, it should be written in that to qualify for the title game you must win your conference. OKST had a better resume and got ripped off, this is an opportunity for these athletes that busted their tails was taken from them!! I gaurentee that LSU wouldve fallen to the spread and people are afraid to make SEC look soft or exposed...Playoffs needed bad, its the only fair n square way to determine a winner and take the vote outta the coaches hands tooBecause the BCS was not designed to pit the conference champions against each other. It was designed to get the two best teams in college in football. We do not have playoffs because Big 10, PAC 12 and Bevo League would / will not support. If we have playoffs then you could still have all SEC NC game unless you are going to say that playoffs can only have 1 team from each conference. That would be a joke. it i slike NCAA saying only one team from each conference. Big East and ACC would cry foul, and I would be right with them. |

LSU-Alabama, the sequelIdiot. OK St. Can't compete with the SEC. Better Resume? You're freaking kidding right? Lost to unknown Iowa State. Who the heck are they. May not be a conference champion, but clearly the best team to play for a Championship. True football fans want to see a rematch to the best game that was played in college football this year. Put your pride aside and watch the best two teams play for the Championship. Better luck next year.

LSU-Alabama, the sequel1. I am a fan of the SEC.
2. This country is in the shape it's in because of apathy. If a person is going to speak up, then by God( yes capitalize God as well as Mama) then back up your words with actions. 3. There are more deserving teams than Michigan. They are there because of MONEY 4. A case can be made for OK. State, but they did lose to Iowa St. Alabama lost to LSU |

LSU-Alabama, the sequelJust a reminder: this is not the National Championship Game. This is the BCS Title Game. And yes, there is a difference. Dilbert, What is difference between National Championship Game, BCS Title Game, and the SEC National Championship game? Isn't it LSU and Alabama? If not; who are playing in the those games and what channel? I don't want to miss any Title or Championship game.... |

LSU-Alabama, the sequel - I know I'm being an azz, but I don't care - it's all about the numbers. And here they are:
16 - the number of times boys outside the SEC wanked off today; −459.67 - the number in for absolute zero (which equates to every conference that doesn't call itself the SEC); 1941 - the year my Mama was born (I also noticed that you yankees don't capitalize the name "Mama," so you really don't love your Mama - just saying). 10 - the age when boys are little boys and the girls look like they're 26 (Sandusky couldn't tell the difference). Yet, I still have hope for this country, cause they got people like us living in it. Rise up! |

LSU-Alabama, the sequelCancel your Allstate policy! Boycott the CBS ESPN BCS sham national championship game. Then email your congressman and ask them to launch an antitrust investigation. Let's never let this happen again!

LSU-Alabama, the sequelOklahoma State should not have lost to a crappy Iowa State team if they wanted a shot. I don't like any of these teams but an overtime loss to LSU looks better than a loss to Iowa State...and Alabama and LSU are the two best teams. It's the right choice.
